Attorney Brent P. Stewart started our law firm in 1995 with the goal of giving injury victims and their families a place where they could turn in their darkest hours and find the highly professional and compassionate legal help they need. Today, Stewart Law Offices serves clients from five offices located throughout the Carolinas, including Spartanburg, S.C. For attorney Brent Stewart, practicing law isn't just about winning a case. It's about helping people when they need it most. When an injury puts someone's life and livelihood in jeopardy, Brent is intent on helping them pick up the pieces. With 30 years of legal experience, Brent is focused on providing comprehensive and compassionate services to everyone who walks through his doors. That means a personalized, one-on-one representation that truly puts clients first. Brent understands the difficulties that clients can face in the aftermath of an accident. Oftentimes, they've worked hard to get insurance companies to understand their needs, and with little success. Brent refuses to see their efforts wasted or watch them be bullied into silence. He jumps in and marshals all of his legal resources to fight for what's right. Many clients seem surprised that Brent answers their calls personally, meets with them face-to-face frequently, and makes it clear that he is truly invested in their well-being and success. That's a reflection of the family atmosphere that the legal team at Stewart Law Offices has built over the years. Brent's commitment to serving clients has led to significant successes during his legal career. His most notable achievement is that he has earned a lifetime membership to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum* and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. I believe Harry Philo says it best, ‘We are lawyers on the side of people. Never let us forget that the law is never settled until it is settled right, it is never right until it is just, and it is never just until it serves society to the fullest. Growing up, Stephen watched the great impact his father, a lawyer himself, had on people as well as his passion for helping others. As he grew older, Stephen learned that his father's passion was borne from the unfairness he witnessed growing up in Easley, SC where brown lung was a problem for so many. Stephen decided from a very early age that he wanted to do good for others, just like his dad. He wanted to be someone to help others in their time of need. After gaining his B.S. degree in 1996 from the University of South Carolina, Stephen continued on to the USC School of Law. While in law school, he was elected Vice-President of Student Trial Lawyers. He graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1999. He has been fighting for the rights of victims ever since. When Stephen says that he is offended by the strong getting their way just because they are strong, he means it.

Tyler Bathrick

Tyler Bathrick knew from a young age that fighting for one's rights is imperative. Growing up in South Bend, Indiana, while working several odd jobs throughout high school and college, Tyler witnessed how insurance companies and big corporations take advantage of people. His calling to personal injury law developed from the drive to "right the wrongs" he felt when he saw victims being mistreated. This genuine care and passion for his client's rights are what he brings to every case he takes on. After earning a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 2003, Tyler left the cold winters of the Midwest to attend The University of South Carolina School of Law. He fell in love with the South and opted to make South Carolina his permanent home. Tyler began his career working in personal injury law immediately after he graduated from law school in 2006. He had the beneficial opportunity to work as an associate attorney, training directly under two former South Carolina workers' compensation commissioners.
