When the Honeybees produce Honey they mix enzymes in with the Nectar and its these enzymes that helps prevent the Honey from crystallising or fermenting. It's widely known that, when natural Honey is heat treated to improve or purify it, these natural enzymes are removed, thus reducing the shelf life of the honey. At Apis-Gold, we do not boil or heat treat our Honey meaning every jar arrives with you in as natural a state as is possible... 1. We aim to take care of bees, in as natural a way as is possible, without the use of harsh treatments. Our belief is, if we take care of the bees, then they'll reward us year on year with 100% natural Honey, Propolis (which is a natural antiseptic) and fresh Beeswax.
