Hi, I'm Kim. I have been playing for a long time. I love traditional Irish music, and I've toured playing Irish music. I've played popular music as a section member and soloist, and I've been a paid player in orchestras. string quartets, and other chamber ensembles... I addition to my playing experience I've taught violin and music at Belmont U, the University of Western Kentucky, The Art Institute of Atlanta, and Johnson University... Kim Barnes Fiddle / Vocals Kim Barnes has been playing violin and fiddle for over three decades. She has toured the nation and been featured on PBS as part of the Celts. She holds an MM from Belmont U in violin performance. She taught violin/fiddle at Belmont and Western Kentucky University.
