Botts Title Company was founded in Brenham, Texas in the late nineteenth century. The oldest discovered record sets the date at 1883. The company was acquired by current management in 1990. Val Walters is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Botts Title Company having served in this capacity since 1991. He is also an attorney with Betts, Walters & Mutscher, P.C. and has a successful law practice with a focus on title and real estate law. A native of Sealy, Texas he settled in Brenham, Texas in 1990 following graduation from the University of Houston Law Center.
