Anthony Jones joined Clean Air Task Force in May 2021 as the Major Gifts Officer. He is based in Lansing, Michigan and brings over 15 years of non-profit fundraising experience. He works with generous donors who are interested in partnering with CATF to help protect and preserve our planet from the effects of climate change.
Prior to joining CATF, Anthony worked in fundraising within the higher education field with three different universities where he was responsible to help raise money to build the endowments for student scholarships, faculty support and capital projects. However most recently he worked with The Nature Conservancy as a Loyal Donor Officer where he worked with donors on major gifts and estate plans.
Anthony is a native of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography/Urban Planning and a MBA degree in Business Management from Western Michigan University.

Armond Cohen is Executive Director of Clean Air Task Force, which he has led since its formation in 1996. In addition to leading CATF, Armond is directly involved in CATF research and advocacy on the topic of requirements to deeply decarbonize global energy systems. Prior to his work with CATF, Armond founded and led the Conservation Law Foundation's Energy Project starting in 1983, focusing on energy efficiency, utility resource planning, and electric industry structure. Armond has published numerous articles on climate change, energy system transformation, and air pollution; he speaks, writes, and testifies frequently on these topics. He is a board member of the Nuclear Innovation Alliance and an honors graduate of Harvard Law School and Brown University.

Brianna McBride joined CATF in March 2022 as Operations Coordinator. Previously, Brianna worked for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island for their chapter located in Boston for over three years. Bruce Phillips is a Senior Advisor at The NorthBridge Group, a leading economic and strategic consulting firm serving the electricity and natural gas sectors. Mr. Phillips applies his expertise in energy market economics and policy to develop, assess and implement strategies to improve economic and environmental performance. During more than 30 years of consulting, he has advised companies in the electric utility, competitive power and natural gas industries, as well as government agencies and non-profit organizations. His recent work has focused on the development of clean electricity infrastructure, alternative pathways to deep decarbonization, and the design of federal climate policies.
Mr. Phillips received a B.A. from the College of the Atlantic (1978), a M.F.S. from Yale University (1984), and an M.B.A. also from Yale University (1984). He co-chairs the Advisory Board of the Yale Center for Business and the Environment.

Charles (CJ) joined Clean Air Task Force in August 2022. As the Head of IT, Charles manages and develops the CATF IT function. He leads the evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of the organization's IT environment/virtual office and is responsible for collaborating with teams in the selection and implementation of solutions to enhance virtual collaboration and support knowledge management processes. Charles oversees and builds internal capacity to provide holistic IT support.
Charles has worked within the science domain as an IT professional since graduating from Northern Arizona University in 2012 with a BSBA in Computer Information Systems. His start in end-user support for the United States Geological Survey evolved into a Systems and Network administrator role that included strategic planning and guidance to the Lowell Observatory in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona.
At Lowell Observatory, Charles supported various science and engineering activities alongside a vibrant and renowned visitor program attracting over a hundred thousand visitors a year. Beyond supporting users, he designed systems and networks that allowed for the organization to grow, while looking ahead and establishing an IT Steering Group to enhance strategic collaboration across the departments.
Cheryl Mossman joined Clean Air Task Force as Head of Accounting in July 2022. At CATF, Cheryl's focus is to support the COO and provide information about all company financial activities, both domestic and international. She also oversees the Accounting Team to ensure efficiency within the financial process and work procedures.
Cheryl comes to CATF with 18 years of university accounting and finance experience, most recently as the Assistant Director of Financial Oversight at Northern Arizona University. Cheryl has a robust 24 year career including private, state, and government accounting.
Cheryl is currently a resident of Flagstaff, Arizona and but she still has her love of the East Coast where she grew up in New Jersey. She received a B.S. in Business Administration (Computer Information Systems), a Certificate in Human Resources, and a Master of Organizational Leadership (Project Management) from Northern Arizona University.

Previously, Crystal worked for Hillspire LLC in Menlo Park, California, a global investment firm, where she was the Chief of Staff to the President. Crystal provided oversight of high-profile initiatives while managing cross-functional teams and supervising strategic business projects.

David W. Yellen serves as a strategic advisor at Clean Air Task Force focused on developing CATF's programming around the annual Conference of the Parties (COP). In this role, he works with programs and functions to create comprehensive programming for CATF's participation at COP and to create long-term strategic and connective tissue across programs, functions, and regions.
Previously, David was an associate director at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, where he was responsible for Asia-Pacific research and programming, as well as the Center's hydrogen work, and he contributed to energy security and markets research. His interests currently include China's industrial strategies and policies in energy industries, hydrogen markets and deployment policies, and energy transition policies in developing countries. David also previously worked at the Council on Foreign Relations on clean energy economics and in Senator Elizabeth Warren's office, and he has contributed pieces to Scientific American and the Economist, among other publications.
David graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in government from Georgetown University, with a focus on energy markets and policy and a minor in economics. David was also a national Rhodes scholarship finalist.

Eliza Sheff joined CATF in August 2022 as a Senior Program Associate in the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) program. Eliza focuses on CCS strategy development and implementation, team organization and coordination management, and leading special projects. Prior to joining CATF, Eliza was a Senior Analyst on the International Climate and Energy team at Cadmus Group, where she supported decarbonization and energy policy for U.S. state and local governments/entities and Small Island Developing States.
Eliza graduated with a master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in 2021, where she primarily concentrated on international environment and resource policy, climate policy, and business for social impact. Elizabeth Marcinkowski joined Clean Air Task Force in July 2021. As a Communications Associate, she supports CATF's strategic policy communications, media relations, digital media, and organizational branding.
Elizabeth's background and interests span nonprofit, communications, and policy work, with a particular interest in equitable development and environmental justice. Prior to joining CATF, she worked on the creative team for The Farmlink Project, a nonprofit organization committed to rescuing surplus and unmarketable produce from farms and distributing it to communities in need.
Elizabeth is a recent graduate from Georgetown University where she studied Culture & Politics in the Walsh School of Foreign Service with a concentration in Environmental Justice and minor in Journalism.

Elizabeth Thompson began her career as a policy advocate for the Clean Air Council of Pennsylvania. She then served as CATF's first Government Affairs representative in DC, from 1996-1999. Subsequently, Elizabeth served for 18 years in various capacities at the Environmental Defense Fund, leading EDF's efforts on the Climate Action Partnership and concluding her work as the President of Environmental Defense Action Fund. While at EDF she pioneered a collaborative approach to challenging policy programs in fisheries management, clean air, and climate.
Currently, she provides analysis to institutions and individuals on advocacy, communications and political campaigns. She believes that effectively understanding and using qualitative and quantitative data can improve all aspects of advocacy. She also served as Senior Mediator and Program Director at the Meridian Institute, an organization determined to help combat climate change, as well as a host of other pressing social and environmental issues.
Ms. Thompson received her law degree from Boston College, and her Master of Law degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and is pursuing her Masters of Science in Government Analytics at Johns Hopkins University.

Fatoumata Diallo joins Clean Air Task Force in 2021 as a Development Assistant. She works to ensure the proper administration of grant applications, execution, and reports as well as accurate and timely tracking of grant activity and deadlines. Fatoumata is a recent grad from The University of Texas at Austin where she studied Health and Society and International Relations/Global Studies with a minor in French. Her interests include women's and children's human rights, social justice, and serving and advocating for underserved communities. She is passionate about bringing sustainable, healthy, and sanitary products to women and young girls in underserved communities. She has a background and interests in the nonprofit and social impact sector.
Currently, she serves as co-founder and President of Women's Relief Initiative, a nonprofit and research team working towards providing immediate menstrual education and resources to women dealing with a lack of access to menstrual products in underserved communities, while also working to develop a marketable and sustainable biodegradable pad. Fatoumata's life motto is to strive each day towards working to make the world a little better than she found it.

Fredric Sinclair joined CATF in October 2022 as Senior Writer. Working alongside the Foundations Giving team, he partners with programs across the organization to develop a wide range of philanthropic communications materials. Fredric has enjoyed a long career championing the missions of nonprofit organizations, most recently serving as a senior writer at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
A published author and produced playwright, Fredric earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Boston University and is an alum of the Sewanee Writers' Conference, Vermont Studio Center, and the Lambda Literary Emerging LGBTQ Writer Fellowships. In addition to philanthropic work, Fredric enjoys helping authors tell their stories, with a particular interest in elevating marginalized voices.

Hayden Hashimoto joined CATF in October 2018. His work focuses on reducing conventional air pollution from stationary sources through environmental regulations under the Clean Air Act. Prior to joining CATF, Hayden worked as a postdoctoral associate with the Rethinking Regulation program at the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University. He also worked at Earthjustice as a summer law clerk and at the Hawaii Supreme Court as an extern.

John Graham joined CATF as a senior scientist in January 2010. He serves as a technical specialist on fate and transport of air pollution, including fine particulate matter, ozone, and air toxics.
Prior to joining CATF, John was a project manager at NESCAUM where he co-authored two papers that analyzed the primary fine particle National Ambient Air Quality Standard published in the Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association and Environmental Health Perspectives. Other notable reports include an Assessment of Carbonaceous PM2.5 for New York State and the Region and Modeling Mercury in the Northeast United States. John previously worked for the US Coast Guard and Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, where he focused on understanding source - receptor relationships of environmental pollution. John holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University.

Joe Chaisson, CATF's Research and Technical Director, has led CATF's research and technical work since its founding in 1996 and is widely respected within the NGO community, Congress, EPA, and the energy industry for his command of key technical issues in the environmental/energy interface. He has commissioned and supervised more than $15 million of direct research on behalf of CATF in the last decade, and during his 35-year career in this field has authored, co-authored and/or supervised hundreds of energy and environmental studies and analyses. Joe works closely with technology companies and financial entities to evaluate and help develop and deploy emerging technologies. He has testified before US Congressional committees on these topics and makes presentations to senior federal legislative staff and executive branch officials on a regular basis.
Joe has served on several scientific and academic advisory committees such as MIT's recent Future of Coal report advisory committee, and regularly advises foundation officials on key technical and policy issues. Joe holds a B.A from Harvard College. From 1987-1996 he was Technical and Research Director at the Conservation Law Foundation's Energy Project, and, from 1973-1980, he worked in several environmental and energy policy areas in Maine state government.

Malwina is a Senior Analyst on the Energy Systems Analysis team. Malwina is based in London and her portfolio has an emphasis on supporting CATF's European programs and EU advocacy agenda.
Malwina has both deep technical expertise as a nuclear engineer as well as a breadth of strong analytical capabilities through her experiences in advising senior policymakers, ministers, and private sector developers on a variety of low-carbon energy sources. Most recently, Malwina worked at Cornwall Insight where she worked directly with renewable developers to advise on energy markets and regulatory landscape within Great Britain. Prior to that, Malwina supported the UK government as a civil servant (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) where she used her analytical skills to build evidence for future energy policies to achieve the UK's zero-carbon energy goals.
Malwina has a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University, an MSc in Nuclear Engineering and BSc in Power Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology and completed a postdoctoral in the nuclear engineering department at UC Berkeley.

Meg Dupuy-Todd joined Clean Air Task Force in 2021 and is the Director of Project Management where she provides tools, resources, and training for successful project management across the organization. She previously was the Senior Program Manager for the Methane Pollution Prevention team focused on initiatives to minimize emissions of climate super pollutants including methane and black carbon. Prior to joining CATF, Meg worked as a manager at Environmental Defense Fund leading projects as a part of their Global Clean Air initiative, including hyper-local air quality monitoring in cities. She was previously a project manager for the EDF Climate Corps program, recruiting fellows and building relationships with partners to expand impact. Meg has also worked for the Museum of Science, Boston and was an AmeriCorps VISTA member.

Shaun Goho - Chief Legal Officer
Shaun Goho joined CATF in February 2023. Before joining CATF, Shaun worked for 15 years at the Emmett Environmental Law & Policy Clinic at Harvard Law School, where he served in several roles, including Acting Director and Deputy Director. At the clinic, he worked on a wide variety of issues, including greenhouse gas and air toxics regulation, air monitoring and citizen science, securities and corporate law strategies to promote decarbonization, municipal climate mitigation and adaptation, lead in drinking water, dam removal, and advising tribes and nonprofits on renewable energy development plans. Shaun has written amicus briefs in more than two dozen high-profile environmental cases, including cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, multiple federal courts of appeals and district courts, and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Shaun has also been a lecturer on environmental law at Harvard Law School and Harvard College.
Shaun previously worked in the Northwest office of Earthjustice, where he litigated public lands, endangered species, and water law cases, and in the Washington, D.C. office of O'Melveny & Myers, where his practice focused on securities litigation. He was also a law clerk for Judge Reginald C. Lindsay in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Shaun holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was Developments Editor of the Harvard Law Review. He also holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biology from McGill University, where his thesis research focused on changes in mutation rates in algae in response to exposure to environmental stressors.

Zoey Gill joined Clean Air Task Force in June 2021. She serves as the Staff Accountant on our finance team and handles multiple accounting processes within our company. Prior to joining CATF, Zoey worked at a public accounting firm while working towards her bachelor's degree.
Zoey graduated with honors from Franklin University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Accounting and Forensic Accounting.
