If you wouldn't put your money into it, don't ever recommend it to someone else. There will be times that you are wrong - that is understood. But with this in the back of your mind, you will never be lazy or greedy." The lesson came from a former employer... David spent almost 10 years on the institutional side, recommending transactions and valuing assets totaling billions of dollars. David's career started at a boutique financial advisory firm that worked very much like a family office. The company's core client was a family holding company with hundreds of millions of dollars of assets.
