Dr. Adam Fisher

Top Detroit dentist, Dr. Adam Fisher, was born and raised in Metro Detroit, where he attended Detroit Country Day for his high school education, and the University of Michigan for his undergraduate training. He studied biochemistry and Spanish before his acceptance into dental school. He decided to leave the white Michigan winters for the sunny Florida shores, where he attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). He then spent a year as an intern, training at Temple in Philadelphia in the oral and maxillofacial surgery department, before returning to Fort Lauderdale to complete his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Broward Health Medical Center. With an inherent desire to help people, it's no purpose that Dr. Fisher chose an area of dentistry with broad application and extensive knowledge. The broad scope of Dr. Fisher's training includes facial cosmetics, dental implants, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial trauma, head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery, anesthesia, and dentoalveolar surgery. He particularly excels at oral and maxillofacial surgery, including the extraction of teeth, dental implants, bone grafting. Dr. Fisher loves taking the time to educate his patients and guide them toward making the best healthcare decisions for themselves. He is constantly motivated to ensure his patients have a terrific dental experience in his care, and it brings him great joy to help transform and restore their health. He also loves to give back and supports Empower a Child. He has taken multiple mission trips to Matamoros, Mexico; San Pedro, Honduras; and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He helped with dental care, construction, clean-up projects, and even taught Vacation Bible School to kids. In San Pedro Sula, he teamed up with the Ruth Paz Foundation to provide surgical care to patients in need. After several years practicing in Florida, the beautiful seasons of Michigan called him home, and he moved back to the Detroit area, where he and his wife welcomed their first child. When Dr. Fisher isn't working, he loves spending time with his wife, son, and their beloved dog. He's a family man, with a love of outdoor activities like scuba diving and sports (Go Blues forever!) and, last but not least, ice cream. He's very passionate about ice cream. Dr. Adam Fisher boasts extensive knowledge in oral and maxillofacial surgery, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, maxillofacial trauma, anesthesia, craniofacial surgery, and reconstructive surgery. He makes complex procedures seem easy and performs surgery with an unmatched skill. Born and raised in the greater Detroit metropolitan area, Dr. Fisher has deep ties to the community. In his free time, he has participated in mission trips to Mexico and Honduras, where he has lent a helping hand during humanity's greatest times of need.

Dr. Christian Groth

Dr. Groth is a native of Metro Detroit and the son of a local dentist. He attended Cranbrook-Kingswood school and then Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he was an academic all-American. He was also a four-year varsity athlete, attending two NCAA national championships and earning multiple all-America swim awards. He attended dental school at the University of Michigan where he graduated at the top of his class. His main course of study at U of M was the leading edge of orthodontics: the benefits of robotically bent, custom wires in orthodontics. Quick to embrace new technology, Dr. Groth leads our team in harnessing the latest innovations in digital impressions. His innovative thinking has allowed us to make our own clear trays for minor movement and then 3D print the models for aligners and retainers to save our patients money and treatment time. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2012, Dr. Groth has lectured regularly to the second-year residents at the University Of Michigan School of Dentistry. He's a published author, and his articles have appeared as the cover stories for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. He also speaks nationally on the benefits of 3D technology in orthodontics. Dr. Groth enjoys running and cycling with friends and his wife Kelly. Both have a passion for running races in support of local charities, and you'll see them running in their TDR t-shirts. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children, daughter Reese and son TJ.

Dr. David Karwacki

Born and raised in the Detroit Metro Area, Dr. David Karwacki earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2010 from the University of Detroit Mercy. He completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2014, followed by a general practice residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in 2015. Dr. Karwacki continued to practice in Michigan before relocating to Southern California to participate in the Endodontics Residency Program at the University of California Los Angeles, which he completed in 2022. Dr. Karwacki is passionate about handling dental emergencies, managing and reducing pain, and helping patients recapture their dental health while applying the golden rule of "treat others the way you want to be treated." Apart from root canals, he enjoys vital pulp therapy, treating dentoalveolar trauma, restorative dental procedures, and surgical endodontic procedures such as apicoectomies and intentional replantation. Dr. Karwacki also enjoys finding ways to give back to communities near and far, from improving the dental health of special needs patients in the operating room at his previous position in Detroit, to participating in dental volunteer programs in Peru. A current resident of Royal Oak, he is excited to be back in Michigan near his friends and family and far from Los Angeles traffic. During his time out of the office, he enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and discovering new local bars and restaurants. Dr. Karwacki is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.
