Founded in late 2020, Freedom Wound Physicians was established by Dr. Han Hulen to fulfill a gap in much needed staffing of dedicated wound care physicians for both hospital outpatient-based and independent wound care centers. Although Dr. Hulen remains a founding board member of Wound Integrity, a group she founded in 2008, she is now dedicating her full efforts to establish a second provider group which will focus on tenured wound care specialists and surgeons who have chosen to transition their careers to full-time wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
