GILFORD ROBOTICS

Our team was founded at Gilford High School in Gilford New Hampshire in 2006 by John Dickson, the Technical Education teacher. 2024 will be our 19th season as a team and we've come far. We compete in District and Regional events every year and in 2012 we won the Granite State Regional which brought our team to the FIRST Championship in St. Louis. We are comprised of about 11 students not including our five mentors and our volunteer parents... Our mission, as Gilford Screaming Eagles (Team #1831), is to inspire students to develop a passion for FIRST robotics, engineering, and teamwork by exploring and learning new things together. Students are encouraged by mentors to solve problems by thinking for themselves, creatively, and outside the box. Our team promotes FIRST values of gracious professionalism and teamwork, on and off the field.
