Dr. Jose Ramon Perez graduated from the Facultad de Ciencias Medicas de la Habana in Cuba. After moving to Miami, he completed his family medicine residency in Jackson Memorial Hospital and then went on to work at the esteemed Baptist Health South Florida, where he has provided high-quality care to hundreds of patients in several of the Baptist facilities throughout Southern Florida. Dr. Perez is Board Certified in Family Medicine and his extensive experience of more than 20 years has allowed him to practice medicine in various scenarios throughout different countries caring for patients of all ages. He states, "Becoming a doctor and playing a direct role in a patient's life is the most meaningful component of what I do and it is incredibly emotionally rewarding. Medicine is my tool and I utilize it to make a difference in people's lives; I truly wouldn't change my profession for anything in this world."
