Dr. William WAN graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Singapore. He is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Dr. Wan is currently the General Secretary of the Singapore Kindness Movement and is actively involved in several boards and committees of non-profit organizations and government agencies. Dr. Wan's legal interest is in both civil and criminal litigation. He is also appointed by the President of Singapore as the Justice of the Peace and is also a certified mediator.
Dr. Wan is a pioneer in pro bono practice and he was one of the first to engage ex-offenders on his staff. He was also instrumental in the founding of the charity servicing ex-offenders that was renamed Prison Fellowship Singapore, of which he is the current chairman. During the 1970s, Dr. Wan was instrumental in founding the Evangelical Fellowship of Singapore and Operation Mobilization in Singapore was established from his law office with him as its first chairman.
During his time in Canada, Dr. Wan was a consultant to the Ottawa Police Department for several years, while pastoring a church and earning his graduate degrees from Regent College, in Vancouver, Carlton University in Ottawa, and Queen's University in Kingston. As a consultant to the Ottawa Police Department, Dr. Wan was the recipient of the coveted Solicitor-General's Award for Crime Prevention and the Civilian Commendation from the Board of Police Commissioners for his work in police and community relations and education. He also took his PhD from University of Ottawa and did his law accreditation examinations at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
As a published author, Dr. Wan contributes regularly to the Straits Times Opinion Page and numerous other newspapers and magazines. He was also a columnist for a local magazine and the Community News of Ottawa. He has also contributed chapters to several books and his published books cover a wide range of subjects. Dr. Wan is also a wide-ranging public speaker in churches and other public platforms.
In 2015, Dr. Wan's work in the community was recognized by a Muslim Foundation when they honoured him as a "Community Leader Extraordinaire" with the Abdeali Tayebali Life-Time Achievement Award.

Mr Daniel JOHN graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Singapore. He is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
With over 40 years of experience majoring in Civil and Commercial litigation, Daniel has been involved in a wide variety of matters ranging from trust and estate litigation to medical and professional negligence, personal injury, defamation and shareholder disputes. An experienced litigator, he has appeared as counsel in domestic tribunals, State Courts, including the High Court as well as the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court. Daniel has also been called upon to act for the Law Society of Singapore in various matters.
In the area of Alternate Dispute Resolution, Daniel has also been called upon to act as arbitrator and mediator in commercial disputes.

Mr David WEE Chin Kam graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Wolverhampton and an MBA from the University of Warwick. He is a Barrister of England and Wales by Middle Temple. Aside from being a seasoned legal attorney, David has also a wealth of experience in engineering and accountancy. He also holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic.
David is authorised to give advice on English law outside England and Wales under rS15 of the Scope of Practice Rules of the Bar Standards Board (BSB). In Singapore, David is registered as a foreign lawyer under Section 36C of the Legal Profession Act (Cap. 161).
David's primary area of practice is in Corporate Law. With almost 18 years of experience as an attorney to various U.S. and international law firms, David has assisted numerous clients in the formation, maintenance, and structuring of companies in and outside of Asia. Prior to becoming a lawyer, David was involved in the sales, marketing and general management of several companies in Singapore.

Mr Noel NG graduated with an LLB Degree from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Prior to being called to the Singapore Bar, Noel was an officer with the Singapore Police Force. He is experienced in the fields of negotiation, mediation, diplomacy and problem-solving in complex and sensitive matters. For his dedication to law enforcement and contributions to the Force and country, Noel was bestowed with awards such as the Commander's Award and Best Frontline Officer Award for rendering distinguished professional service to high-level cases as well as active contribution of proactive arrests for public safety and national security.
Noel is actively involved in alumni and mentorship matters as well as the diplomatic community. He sits on the Management Board of the Australian Alumni Singapore (AAS), which is the national umbrella organisation for all Singapore and Singaporean-based graduates of the Australian universities. The AAS Patrons include the Australian High Commissioner and former President of Singapore His Excellency Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam. Kim Lan has close to 40 years of legal experience and her areas of practice include advising banks and the Central Provident Fund Board (CPF) as one of their panel lawyers, purchasers and vendors in residential, commercial and industrial property transactions, general solicitor's work and litigation matters.
At Goodwins, Kim Lan oversees the Insurance and Financial Services Department, advising clients both locally and globally. These clients include life insurers, general insurers and insurance intermediaries and financial advisers. She also oversees the Trusts Department, advising clients on how to use trusts effectively as well as advising trust companies on compliance issues.
Kim Lan is experienced in regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services sector, advising insurers on the setting up of branches and subsidiaries in Singapore, applications for insurance licences, the legal and compliance aspects of operational matters, schemes of transfers and on the structuring and marketing of insurance products. In the course of work, she liaises often with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Kim Lan has drafted and/ or reviewed the terms and conditions of numerous life insurance products such as life policies, term policies, hybrid policies, investment-linked policies (ILPs) with open-ended funds, ILPs with close-ended funds and portfolio bonds, as well as health insurance products, including several Shield plans currently in the market. In addition to the insurance products, she also drafts and/or reviews related product summaries as well as the marketing materials. Ms FOO Yuk Lin graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the National University of Singapore. She is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore as well as a Commissioner for Oaths.
With over 34 years of active litigation practice in the Singapore courts, Yuk Lin has handled numerous cases covering the fields of contract, tort, commercial law, family law & probate, construction law and arbitration. Her cases have been reported regularly in the Singapore Law Reports.
Presently, Yuk Lin specialises in motor/personal injury litigation as well as civil litigation. Her other areas of expertise cover non-marine insurance matters such as fidelity guarantees, performance bonds, fire polices, public liability policies, and all-risks policies.
Ms L. Susan KAUR graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Nottingham and holds a Masters in International Public Policy at Johns Hopkins University in Italy and Washington DC, USA. She graduated with honours and one of her course papers was published in the International Journal for Civil Society Law in 2006. She is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Susan spent a number of years teaching at a university in China as well as part-time teaching at the National University of Singapore. She subsequently took on the role of Executive Director in an international NGO based in Hong Kong, where she oversaw the operations of the development and education work in China. The role involved working with the local government, donor relations as well as negotiations with various stakeholders in the communities where there were development projects. Susan has also been involved in discussions on the draft laws relating to charities and non-profits. These discussions involved well-known universities, public stakeholders, chambers of commerce and other businesses that were interested in corporate social responsibility participated. She has also consulted for various foreign businesses and non-profit entities wanting to set up in China.
In 2010, she registered her own business in Hong Kong and obtained certifications in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, Leadership Effectiveness Analysis 360 and Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Indicator so that she could expand her skills in training and coaching for leaders, managers and teams. She is also a certified ACTA trainer in Singapore. She has provided training and coaching to managers and top teams, with the use of psychometric tools for Fortune 500 companies, SOEs, SMEs, NGOs as well as civil servants in the region. In addition, she has also conducted training in high-performance teams for senior civil servants in China.

Ms Sylvia KHOO graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the National University of Singapore. She is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Sylvia has extensive experience in handling a myriad of litigation, both civil and criminal, and general solicitors' work. She has held in-house positions at Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd and Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd where she provided legal support to the management and various departments such as human resource, procurement and business operations in the review of internal documentation and processes, drafting and negotiation of contracts, management of potential claims and advice on legal compliance. She also worked as a legal counsel in a local insurer where she provided legal support in the legal and claims department.
At Goodwins, Sylvia oversees the Corporate and Commercial Department. She advises clients on a wide spectrum of commercial transactions and contracts including leases, licences, management services agreements, facilities agreements, supplies agreements, employment issues, intellectual property protection, distributorship and agency arrangements and sale and purchase of company shares and assets. Sylvia has a good understanding of the needs of institutional clients and the necessary skills and knowledge to help them meet their goals. Further, having served in various industries, Sylvia is able to provide relevant legal advice and support, aided by her first-hand knowledge of the operational aspects of the specific industry.
Sylvia is also part of the Insurance and Financial Services Department, where she advises clients which include life insurers, general insurers and insurance intermediaries such as brokers and financial advisers. Sylvia also advises on the regulatory and compliance aspects of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, having drafted and reviewed policies and documents for clients from the PDPA perspective.

Ms Pauline H Y ANG graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Singapore. She is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore as well as a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.
Pauline has close to 50 years of legal experience in corporate law and overseas the Corporate Regulatory Compliance Practice. She has developed a considerable portfolio of charitable and not-for-profit clientele and gives advice on a range of legal matters, which include registration, regulatory compliance issues and employment matters. She is well-versed and has extensive experience rendering advice and assistance to churches and para-church organisations in their reviews of constitutions and other matters.
Pauline serves as the Company Secretary for numerous companies. She served as the Company Secretary for the former listed Sin Chew Jit Poh (Singapore) Ltd., one of the two leading Chinese newspaper companies in Singapore. She was also an Independent Director/Company Secretary/Member of Audit Committee, Nominating Committee and Chairperson of the Remuneration Committee for a SESDAQ listed company until its delisting in March 2009. She also handles employment and dependants' passes on behalf of clients.

Dr ANG Peng Hwa graduated with an LLB (Hons) Degree from the National University of Singapore, a Master's Degree in Communication Management at the University of Southern California and was awarded a Ph.D. in Mass Media at Michigan State University. He is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Dr Ang was Dean of the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Director of the Singapore Internet Research Centre. His research interests lie in media law and policy and he has consulted on the subject for the governments of Singapore, Thailand and Bhutan.
He is the author of Ordering Chaos: Regulating the Internet (Thomson, 2005), which was one of the earliest books on Internet governance. He was a member of 40-strong Working Group on Internet Governance that was appointed by then UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to prepare a report for the 2005 World Summit on the Information Society.
In 2000, Dr Ang was awarded a Fulbright fellowship at Harvard University; in 2001, he was a visiting scholar at Oxford University. In 2008, he spent his on sabbatical in Ahmedabad, India, to help start the doctoral-equivalent programme at the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad. He recently stepped down as Chairman of the regional non-profit media organisation Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC) and is one of the two vice-presidents of the Consumers' Association of Singapore (CASE), and legal advisor to the Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore (ASAS). Dr Ang's practice is in the areas of internet governance, media law and policy and compliance with the recently-enacted Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
