HCI4H Lab, a research lab dedicated to the study of human behavior and computing technologies for the design of new systems in real world settings to improve the quality of everyday life. HCI4H follows 2 major lines of research: healthcare and everyday wellbeing. In healthcare, the lab is focused on the development of new systems for clinical contexts to improve the capacity and efficiency of health professionals, as well as to empower patients to take an active role in healthcare delivery. In everyday wellbeing, the lab is focused on the design of novel multidisciplinary solutions to improve physical health and go beyond it in whatever direction necessary to achieve a general sentiment of wellbeing, including cognitive abilities, emotions, mental stability, social relationship, shaping healthy everyday behaviours.
