As it stands, there are very few groups in APAC who are committed to establishing best practice protocols and guidelines for this region. INSA was created to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and exchange of ideas, whilst also taking into account observational lessons from international groups as to how we can best regulate practitioners of intraoperative neurophysiology... INSA represents a new era for existing and future members of this society. We have a brand new executive council from three states in Australia, as well as a senior neurophysiologist and neurosurgeon in Singapore. Collectively, we have a proven track record for managing clinical practice, research, academia and contributions to the healthcare community. We were nominated and voted-in because we represent the wider interests of the intraoperative neurophysiology community - one that we hope is more inclusive of it's diversity going forward.
