Liang Yu is the Partner of ITANATI Consulting, a senior consultant of corporate finance and investment and an experienced advisor of cross-border M&A. Proficiency in Japanese and English, and Chinese as mother tongue. Residing in Shanghai, he is responsible for marketing and customer relationship in China. As a senior consultant of corporate finance and investment, Liang has been dedicating himself to serve the world-renowned international companies in Shanghai in the past decade, providing professional consulting services of equipment financing and investment to more than 300 local enterprises in the eastern area of China, focusing on the fields of automotive, energy, chemical, wood processing, glass processing, mobile communications, textiles, printing and other manufacturing industries. Over the past 10 years of professional consulting career, Liang has provided financial and investment services to a large number of manufacturing business owners and senior management in mainland China with successful track records. As a result he has gained rich knowledge and resources in many industries and, more importantly, he can quickly understand the business needs of Chinese entrepreneurs, especially the needs of those private business owners for capital and finance in an effort to enhance the development of enterprise in space and latitude. With the current circumstance that China is facing a rather long process of industrialization in adjusting of the national economic structure, and in the background of heavy advocacy of "The Initiatives of New Silk Road Economy" by the Chinese government, Liang makes good use of his years of expertise and experience in Economics of studying and working abroad to lead Chinese enterprises to step overseas. By seeking appropriate business opportunities in the Italian and European markets, he has been building a international business platform to assist the Chinese enterprises in cross-border investment through corporate collaboration in capital and technology and mergers and acquisitions. Liang joined the CIT Financial Group of America from 2012 as the Director of Equipment Finance and Investment, with the main focus on serving Chinese private enterprises in a few key industries including domestic automotive, textile, printing, processing and other manufacturing fields. To date he has provided the services of global capital funding, technological innovation and acquisition to more than 200 Chinese private enterprises. Liang participated in the strategy meeting of Sheet Metal Processing Association in Qing County of Hebei Province in 2013 and he successfully introduced the Top machinery brand "Trumpf" from Germany and provided equipment leasing services to the local clients. Currently Qing County has become one of the most important areas for advanced sheet metal processing in China. Liang served Siemens Financial Group from 2009 to 2012 and actively involved in the important projects of environmental transformation by Siemens with the Chinese local governments. For example he was responsible for introducing capital and providing technical support from Germany in the environmental improvement project with the local government of Beilun District from Ningbo in Zhejiang province. Liang came back to China in 2006 when he joined Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group in Shanghai. For 3 years he has been focusing on serving the Chinese small and medium private enterprises for their needs in finance and investment and as a result he has helped more than 100 companies during the period. He also took active initiatives in promoting the enterprise cooperations and acquisition between Japan and the mainland China. In 2007, Liang took part in the merger between Japan's Kobe Steel Construction Machinery Group and China Chengdu Engineer Machinery Group and provided the services of financing and leasing to the project of manufacturing excavators and other construction machineries locally in Chengdu. He received rewards from senior management due to his excellence work. Liang has studied and worked in Japan from 1999 to 2006. During his stay overseas, he dedicated himself in learning the Japanese language and the subject of Microeconomics for 5 years and received the degree of Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics in 2005 from Shinshu University, a national university in Japan. Meanwhile he also actively assisted the Japanese small and medium enterprises in seeking business opportunities in China, and he has successfully represented Japanese Nagano Precision Processing Industry Association to exhibit in the Shanghai Expo Technology Exhibition in 2002.
