- Founder and CEO of Jantar
Dusan Simic is the founder and CEO of Jantar grupa Ltd., the leading private company in Serbia and the region. Prior to founding Jantar grupa Ltd., he worked on the assessment of investment in the company Sofitel Auditor. In the period between 1995 and 1998, he worked as a Professor Assistant at the Faculty of Mining and Geology and he taught courses in Economic Geology and Economics of Geological Exploration.
With over 25 years of industry experience, he is responsible for some of the most recognized works in the field of exploration and evaluation of mineral properties in Serbia and the region as well as worldwide. He is a Professional Geologist and practicing member registered with the American Institute of Professional Geologist and European Federation of Geologist, and cofounder and active member of GRAS Geological Mining Association of Serbia (GRAS).
Jovana Jecmenica is a Project Geologist in Jantar grupa Ltd. She graduated in 2015 as a Master of Geology from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology. In 2016 she started her career working as a geologist in Jantar grupa. During her working experience, she has been dealing with the exploration of various types of mineral deposits in Serbia and the region, geological modeling and resource estimation.
In recent years, she has been paying special attention to the base and precious metal deposits (Pb-Zn, Cu, Au, Ag) and coal deposits. She is the author or co-author of numerous Exploration Designs, Reports on Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves, various studies and scientific papers. At the same time, she participated in congresses, seminars, and courses concerning her professional field, and besides this, she has also attended educational programs for entrepreneurs such as Leader project.
Ljiljana Vasojević has been employed in Jantar grupa d.o.o. for more than 10 years. Byprofession, she is an Electronics Engineer.
In Jantar grupa, she works as an administrator, forms and maintains databases and createsgraphic documentation. She also participates in the implementation of reports, projects andstudies in accordance with her profession. She is engaged as a management representative forIMS (for QMS, EMS and OH&S).
Milan Ljubicic is a Project Geologist and Safety Person with 10 years working experience inJantar grupa Ltd. He graduated in 1999 as Master of Geology from the University of Belgrade,Faculty of Mining and Geology.
During his working experience, 2002-2009, he has been working as work-site manager incompany "Geosonda-Hidrogeologija", planning, organizing, managing exploration activities,drilling of exploration bores and wells and supervision of drilling machines, production oftechnical reports.
In 2010 he started his career working in Jantar grupa Ltd creating project documentation(Project, Survey, Final Report) and dealing with exploration management and supervision ofexploration of various types of mineral deposits in Serbia, Bosnia and the region.
In recent years, he has been paying special attention to research on environmental protection.
