Alaric-Lorenzo is licensed to practice law (and in good standing) in the states of California and New York. He is also licensed to practice law in two foreign countries: Cameroon and Nigeria (West Africa). A graduate from the University of Yaounde II and the Nigerian Law School, Alaric-Lorenzo's understanding and command of the law is unparalleled. After working with top US-based law firms for years, he decided to set up his own practice to have better control of the cases he handles and to escape the grueling and limiting walls of "Big Law." He currently focuses on both litigation & transactional law practice. He has taken on major U.S companies like Gap Inc., TJX Companies Inc., Lazy Dog Restaurants LLC, Starbucks Corp., ROSS Stores, Inc., Dollar Tree Stores Inc., and SouthWest Airlines. He has also successfully brought groundbreaking lawsuits on behalf of his clients against Public entities like Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Alaric-Lorenzo has negotiated millions of Dollars in lawsuit settlements. He has represented clients in high-profile cases including defending a client in a suit at the instance of Odell Beckham Jr., one of America's highest paid Footballers. His principal areas of practice in litigation are: Civil rights (encompassing all sorts of discrimination as pursuable under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the ADA, California's UNRUH ACT, New York's Human Rights Laws etc); Personal Injury law; Employment and Labor Law, Catastrophic Torts and Premises liability. On the transactional side of practice, Alaric-Lorenzo is Counsel to major international companies doing business in the U.S.A., Europe and Africa. He is Counsel to RAINBOW GLOBAL OPERATIONS LTD, a sports talents company headquartered in Dublin Ireland with sporting interests all over Africa. He has facilitated the execution of mulitiple contracts pertaining to the transfer of soccer players principally from Africa to Clubs around the world and has also overseen the acquisition of Soccer clubs in Europe and Africa. He has also worked on major capital financing deals for his corporate clients.
