Archie McCoy III

Archie is a creative and results-driven graphic designer with 18 years of experience working with academic, non-profit, and corporate organizations. He has designed brand identities and rebranded communications collateral for both small and large organizations. He developed the brand identity for the award-winning music company Music World Entertainment. Archie led the creative branding for KIPP Texas Public Schools, which involved collaboration with stakeholders across the statewide network of schools. His past clients have included the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Teach For America, and Covenant House-Texas. Archie has an associate degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston. A native of Louisiana, Archie resides in Houston, Texas with his wife and two sons. Archie is a movie buff and a lover of classic cars.

Chris Gonzalez

Chris has 15+ years of experience working in communications and public schools. She began her career in education as a history teacher at YES Prep Public Schools in 2000, and went on to become the development director for KIPP in Boston. She continued her career with KIPP in Houston, first as development director and then as the founding head of marketing and communications team for ten years. Chris also served as the national vice president of development and marketing at Genesys Works. Recently, Chris has provided external relations consulting to a variety of clients including Davidson College, KIPP Tulsa Public Charter Schools, The Council on Recovery, and Education Pioneers. For 12 years, Chris served as an elected member of the Spring Branch Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees, holding positions such as Board President, Vice President and Secretary. Chris is also on the boards for American Leadership Forum Houston, SPARK School Park Program, and the Spring Branch Education Foundation. Chris has a Masters of Business Administration from Rice University and Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University. Chris enjoys exercise and reading when she isn't on the baseball and soccer fields with her four children who attend their neighborhood school and KIPP Courage in Houston. Chris has 15+ years of experience working in communications and public schools. A former YES Prep history teacher and long-time marketing and development leader at KIPP Houston, Chris also served for 12 years on the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees in Houston, Texas.

Jonathan Cetel

Jonathan Cetel has more than 15 years experience working in communications and government relations for education nonprofits. He most recently served as the Director of External Affairs at the Camden Education Fund. From 2012-2018, he served as the founding executive director of PennCAN, a statewide education advocacy organization. In 2013, he was honored by Forbes 30 under 30 as one of the most influential young leaders in education. Jonathan began his career in education as a middle school reading teacher in Philadelphia. He holds a BA in History and an MA in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and two children. Jonathan Cetel has more than 15 years experience working in communications and government relations for education nonprofits. Lupita Talley

Lupita is a communications and community outreach professional with more than 15 years of experience. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of Neighborhood Schools, a Houston-based non-profit committed to building bridges between schools and the Houston community and increasing educational opportunities for all students. Lupita served as the communications director for KIPP Houston, where she oversaw student recruitment and media relations. Lupita is a KIPP Academy alumna from the very first KIPP class in 1994. Lupita volunteers extensively to revitalize her North Houston neighborhood and is Vice President of the Eastex/Jensen Super Neighborhood. Lupita has a BS in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Lupita enjoys the outdoors, photography, and spending time with her husband and seven-year-old son. Lupita is a communications and community outreach professional with more than 15 years of experience. In addition to her work with Mango Strategies, Lupita is the co-founder and Executive Director of Neighborhood Schools, a Houston-based non-profit committed to building bridges between schools and the Houston community.

Nadia Alarakhia

Nadia Alarakhia has more than 17 years of experience in marketing, strategy, and consumer behavior. Nadia began her career the consumer packaged goods sector and later transitioned to digital strategy development across a variety of sectors including nonprofit civic engagement firms, political advocacy, and hospitality small businesses. Recently, Nadia has provided strategic consulting on digital marketing for a variety of charter school networks, including Ascend Public Charter School, Digital Pioneers Academy, and Democracy Prep Public Schools. Nadia received her MBA from the University of Tampa and Bachelors' of Science degrees in Biology and Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and two children. Nadia Alarakhia has more than 17 years of experience in marketing, strategy, and consumer behavior. She directs digital strategy for school systems, nonprofit civic engagement firms, advocacy organizations, and small businesses.

Rebecca Raber

Rebecca has more than 15 years of experience working in communications, advocacy, and governmental affairs for education organizations. Prior to joining Mango Strategies, Rebecca spent eight years at the Doris & Donald Fisher Fund, where she helped lead the national communications work for education nonprofits, including KIPP and Teach For America. She also served on the governmental affairs team at the California Charter Schools Association, working with state legislators to represent the interests of public charter schools. In addition to her K-12 experience, Rebecca has also led communications and advocacy efforts in support of preschools. Rebecca has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis. A native Californian, Rebecca spends her free time rediscovering the natural beauty of her home region with her two toddlers, who are currently training to become her hiking buddies.

Steve Mancini

Steve has two decades of experience in public affairs, strategic communications, and brand development. Steve started his career in education teaching high school social studies in the Boston area for six years. After serving as a communications director at the U.S. Department of Education during the Clinton Administration, Steve became the first national public affairs director for the KIPP Foundation. For 16 years, Steve was the managing director for KIPP's external communications as the network of public charter schools grew from a handful of sites in two cities to 250 schools located in 20 states. Following his work at KIPP, Steve was a principal at RALLY, an issues-advocacy communications firm, where he advised non-profit education clients, including the Charter School Growth Fund, ReGeneration Schools, National Council on Teacher Quality, Ascend Public Schools, and Accelerate Great Schools. Steve has a Master's Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College. Steve's three daughters keep him busy, but when he has time free, he can be found reading history or cheering on the Boston Celtics. Steve has two decades of experience in public affairs, strategic communications, and brand development. Steve began his career as a high school social studies teacher, later working in the Clinton Administration and then as national public affairs director for the KIPP Foundation for 16 years.
