MARTINA ORSINI

Martina Orsini, PhD, is an urban and architecture designer and scholar Milan based (Italy). She has been professor at Territorial Design Lab and at Urban Principles Course of the Faculty of Architecture of Politecnico di Milano for more than a decade. Her research interests, publish activities and design are focused on contemporary city themes. Since recently, she has been deepening contemporary public spaces highlighting privatization dynamics and social de-materialization. Along with scholarly activity she manages her own design assignments and consultancies at different scales and collaborates with renowned Milan firms. On 2017 she co-founded Ibidem Design and Research Platform, an international group gathering different and highly specialized discipline competences.
