Andrew Bryant - President

Andrew Bryant is MJMMG's President. He oversees day-to-day operations of the company's public space projects. His responsibilities include client relations, government relations, and oversight of contract implementation and compliance. Andrew works closely with our clients on developing management and operations plans, as well as on management structures. His notable projects include work on the formation of a transit centered benefit district in San Francisco, the VIA Villa Centro Plaza plan in San Antonio, and the East Village Green Open Space in San Diego. 
Andrew joined MJMMG in June of 2009. Prior to that, he worked for Forest City Development in San Francisco on the redevelopment of the new San Francisco Centre. On that project, he assisted the development team in their negotiations with city agencies before, during, and after the entitlement process, supported the community outreach process, and worked collaboratively with neighborhood groups and with community-based organizations. 
Andrew also worked in non-profit administration, both as a logistics manager for large scale fundraising, and as a volunteer program coordinator for the volunteer center at San Francisco State University. 
He serves as Vice Chair of the Iron Horse Trail Advisory Committee that improves the expansive Iron Horse trail system in Contra Costa County. He has held leadership positions on several boards of directors, including the Fifth and Mission Yerba Buena Garage, South of Market Childcare Center, Yerba Buena Alliance and other community boards. In addition to his board work, Andrew has been active in Democratic Clubs, including a board position with the Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club. He has received awards and recognition for his volunteer efforts in both political and non-profit arenas.

Catherine Hickey

Catherine Hickey is the Manager of Mission Bay Parks, an intricate system of parks in the evolving Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. She oversees all aspects of day to day park operations. Catherine serves as the first point of contact for park visitors, tenants, vendors and contractors. She also oversees the administrative functions and park management, ongoing guidance and recommendations for park management best practices. Catherine joined MJMMG in 2017 and applies 15 years of community and economic development experience to her work. Her expertise in main street revitalization strategies at the grass roots level has leveraged over $9.9 million in grants, procured $1.65 million in loans and assisted more than 600 entrepreneurs and business owners.

Crystal Watts is the Events Manger and Site Assistant and Mission Bay Parks. She applies 15 years of experience in the entertainment and performing arts industries-including work on rock concerts, film festivals, theatre and musicals-to her work at Mission Bay. She joined Mission Bay Parks in 2018. Before that, she created and managed performing arts theaters in two Bay Area communities.

Jim Chappell

Jim Chappell is an urban development expert, strategic thinker, and community opinion leader experienced in building consensus on complicated civic problems. He specializes in providing strategic assistance to the development community and public agencies on private-public initiatives. From 1994 to 2009, he led the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR), bringing a balanced and informed perspective to San Francisco Bay Area urban issues through research, education, and advocacy. Prior to that he began his career as a planning and development consultant, working for some of the country's top planning firms, on a wide variety of projects for developers, public agencies, and community groups. He is skilled in strategic planning, positioning, zoning and land use planning, project siting, entitlements, public/private partnerships, historic preservation, park and recreation planning, community relations and government relations.

MARY J. McCUE - CEO

Mary J. McCue brings to her role more than 20 years of management experience for urban public spaces and facilities. The recipient of some of her community's most prestigious awards, she leads her corporate team and served as General Manager of Yerba Buena Gardens from 1993 through 2018. In her role as Founder + CEO of MJMMG, she leads a multi-disciplinary team in managing San Francisco's Union Square Park, Mission Creek Park in the emerging Mission Bay area, the exterior setting for the Four Seasons Hotel and Yerba Buena Lane, as well as servicing three of San Francisco's business improvement/community benefit districts. Her focus on rigorous program management is complemented by a strong creative background and entrepreneurial spirit. She brings two decades of experience in event production and management as well as community organizing and arts administration to the task of not just managing but activating public spaces. She created Union Square Live, which brings more than 60 free performing arts events to San Francisco's urban public each year.

Richard Reeser

Richard Reeser is the Site Engineer at Mission Bay Parks. He oversees the day-to-day maintenance of the parks equipment, HVAC electrical, plumbing hardware, security surveillance equipment and property lighting to ensure that all properties receive both preventative and curative maintenance. 
Richard has been with MJMMG since 2014. He started as a Journeyman Engineer at Yerba Buena Gardens. He is a member of Stationary Engineers Local 39.

Saul Estrada

Saul Estrada is Sr. Project Manager of the Capital Improvement Team at Yerba Buena Gardens, where he oversees all capital improvements. His responsibilities include client relations, tenant relations, and oversight of contracting, procurement, and construction management activities. 
Saul joined MJMMG in December of 2016. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade in commercial building development, small business development, and creating organizational and technical systems. As a project superintendent, he managed day-to-day construction activities of large scale commercial facilities, including manufacturing space, labs, and high-rise structures. This work shaped his understanding of how complex projects come together and how to manage projects with diverse stakeholders. Saul applies his experience to build value through the development, implementation, and management of efficient systems that optimize costs and cash flow. He also uses his training in engineering, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business management to ensure that every project at Yerba Buena Gardens is undertaken with the utmost respect for the unique cultural and environmental resources.
