A trilingual independent representative, Mélanie has more than 15 years of experience in the wealth management and investment sectors. Passionate about the art of communication and international cultures, she holds an M.A. in Spanish, a B.A. in Spanish and a B.A. in Communication from the University of Ottawa. She also studied at the University of Quito in Ecuador and was awarded a scholarship to study in Spain. It was in 2005, while living in Toronto, that a manager looking for a trilingual candidate convinced her to make a move into financial services. Contributing to client's financial wellbeing turned out to be a rewarding outcome. She has completed numerous training courses in the securities and insurance industry and has worked with Canadian leaders such as Manulife and Sun Life, as District Vice President and Wealth Sales Director respectively. Her role was to help securities brokers, financial planners and advisors analyze, develop, and select financial solutions for their clients' investment portfolios. Mélanie is a dedicated, passionate person with an excellent work ethic. She advocates a consultative approach based on the most important of values: integrity.
