Angela Magnan

Angela Magnan is a business and equestrian mogul who understands the importance of second chances. 35 years ago spending her days working with and training dangerous horses up for auction in Alberta, Canada is where her real learning began. Her passion along with guidance and tips from elders who also worked with horses enabled her to calm them, gain their trust and allow them to be transferred to the care of a human while in a safe and trusting mindset. Coaching the human through the transition and building relationships that flourish was a rewarding gift she was often called to do. One of her favourite parts of this job was ‘seeing the trust peek through when all others had given up'. This relates to the horse, and the human who many times grew from the time spent in sessions. She continued her work in Oregon USA where she spent most of the time there training horses and learning about their psychological needs and how they interact with people. She learned how to read each individual horse and their body language and communication styles. She utilised these skills while leading private trips in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, continuing to live, learn and breathe with horses every day. "We must understand the beautiful gift they are, and we must understand ourselves to survive the treacherous and challenging tracks we travel physically, and emotionally all through our lives.
