Sydney Rock ‘n' Roll & Alternative Market is currently focussed on the Sydney Rock ‘n' Roll & Alternative FESTIVAL, an event which celebrates the 10 year history of the Sydney Rock ‘n' Roll & Alternative Market. This event will be held on Sunday 20 March, 2022 at the Factory Theatre Marrickville. With plans to host a festival celebrating our 10 year history in 2020 shelved due to COVID-19, it is now finally happening! Sydney Rock ‘n' Roll & Alternative Market never set out to be your average market. From its humble beginnings at Tempe in 2010 where it provided a much-loved meet for lovers of all things rock ‘n' roll related, it exploded into the most popular alternative market in Sydney after moving to Manning House at the University of Sydney in 2012 and remained on campus until just before COVID-19 hit. Future market events other than our whopping big festival are not planned at this time. Part market, part music festival, part meeting place, Sydney Rock ‘n' Roll & Alternative Market was a place where you could have one of Sydney's most unique shopping experiences and a fabulous day out. The market featured passionate, colourful and seriously cool stallholders from all over NSW and interstate selling quality, rock ‘n' roll, alternative and vintage clothing, jewellery, accessories, make-up, music, including vinyl records, rock posters, cult DVDs, tikis, tattoo art, books, comics, art, homewares, collectables, retro hair and loads more. It provided a platform for many small businesses to promote their unique goods and services
