Our mission is to reduce or eliminate that isolation so that rural providers continue to practice in rural areas and rural people have better access to health care... The Robert C. Byrd Center for Rural Health focuses on training the next generation of rural physicians and inspiring health care advocates in Appalachian rural communities. We can all play a role in improving health disparities for at-risk populations.
