We believe that it is our responsibility and our blessing to be good stewards of this place, its history, its land, and its resources. Cumberland Gap was inhabited by indigenous people, including the Cherokee and Shawnee, when it was referred to as the Warrior's Path. Since that time others have followed, including more than likely some of your ancestors... Our main goal of this line and site is to help put the "Gap on the map". Our hope is that we can share the region with you, whether you are a local, a visitor or even a guest who has not yet stepped in the Gap.
