Our experienced team includes multiple mental health specialists of various disciplines who work together as a team... The Oaks Behavioral Health was founded in 2019 by Tarah Mathews, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Tarah had worked in various mental health settings including inpatient facilities, crisis stabilization, community mental health, and private practice. She saw certain benefits to all these settings, but had a vision for a different kind of practice... Our mission is caring for people, promoting belief in the capacity for change, and instilling hope into individuals, families, and our communities. Caring is at the heart of everything we do.
