TURKSOTX is nonprofit corporation organized for exclusively Charitable, Educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended to promote Turkish Culture, history and Traditions through educational programs, raise money for Turkish and American Charities. Transfer Turkish traditions to new generations of Turkish Americans... We have been helping various charities both in the USA and Turkey with our Turkish cooking classes and the cooking book. In order to continue our volunteer work in a more professional manner, we have established a non-profit organization under the name of "Turkish Society of Texas" (TURKSOTX)... While providing our volunteer services, we also aim to share our Turkish heritage and culture. We believe the great leader, Ataturk's vision and discipline will guide us in our work.
