Rachel E. Morris

Rachel E. Morris is a native of Surry, Virginia. She received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Saint Augustine's University and her MBA in business management from Strayer University. Rachel believes in staying up to date on the latest trends in the industry. She is a 2021 graduate of LaunchWakeForest and a 2022 graduate of Leadership U for Humanity with the Korn Ferry Foundation. As the managing partner of White & Morris, she has worked with diverse group of clients and businesses. She has over 22 years of experience in the nonprofit and for-profit industries and over 18 years as a notary in North Carolina. She has extensive knowledge and training in strategic planning, operations, financial management, partnership development, and event planning. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority where she managed the international operations of a headquarters office, servicing a financial membership of over 10,000 annually and managed legal issues throughout the United States, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Germany and Korea. Rachel excelled in the role as the 5th Executive Director of the sorority. She used her technical background to strengthen the organization's office infrastructure and drove innovation using cutting edge technology. She has also served as a Business Manager of the Office of Undergraduate Education and the Office of Arts & Sciences Information Services at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to managing the departments, she provided comprehensive technical support to faculty and staff in the College of Arts and Sciences. She provided training on applications in beta testing and technical support in the areas of academic technology and applications development. She is very active in her community from serving as a basketball and baseball coach to serving on national and local board of directors. She is a member of many organizations including Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, National Black MBA Association, Inc, National Notary Association, Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and Association Executives of North Carolina. Rachel is a powerful speaker and trainer with an uncanny ability to connect with her audiences. Her gift of connecting with people has proven to be a huge asset for her as a loan signing agent and working with business owners to find solutions for growth and expansion.
