Amin is the non-executive chairman of African Soil Capital. He's a partner at Origin Funding Partners since 2020. Prior to that he spent 32 years in banking working for Citi, Ecobank Group and Samba Financial Group, in various markets in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His previous roles include the global head of corporate and investment banking at Ecobank Group and the Africa head of securities and banking at Citi. Amin holds a BSc (summa cum laude) in business management from the Boston University School of Management.

Tim is the founder and CEO of African Soil Capital. He's been in financial services for over 15 years including 13 years in banking working for Citi and MUFG Bank. He has broad experience working with financial institutions, corporates and fintechs across Africa, to deliver world-class trade finance solutions. His previous roles include the Africa head of distribution at Greensill Capital and the Africa head of transaction banking at MUFG Bank. Tim holds a BCom in finance from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from GIBS - University of Pretoria.
