Devika has worked in the finance industry and is a qualified chartered management accountant with over 15 years' leadership experience. She works as a Finance Director for a global firm. Her responsibilities have included implementing a new global business transformation program and system as well as the key organisational changes required to support this; and managing a global team supporting finance, planning and control in over 150 countries. Devika was based on New York for 3 years of her career and had the opportunity to work with global colleagues. As a result she has first-hand experience of different people and cultures and strongly believes in the importance of diversity in all areas of society.
Devika also believes strongly in the importance of education and lifelong learning, having supplemented her school and university qualifications with a postgraduate qualification in accounting to help her develop her career.
Devika was raised in Enfield and now resides in Hertfordshire with her husband and toddler son. Her hobbies include cooking, unsuccessfully growing veg in her garden (still trying) and running (if the weather is good).
Fazana has worked in education since 2008. Having qualified as a secondary English teacher in Tower Hamlets, London. Fazana has worked in a range of schools across London and Hertfordshire as an English teacher, EAL Coordinator and Lead Practitioner in English, literacy and KS2-3 transition. She was an experienced member of whole school teaching and learning teams, delivering a range of CPD, establishing and running mentoring and coaching schemes for experienced colleagues as well as overseeing beginner teachers who were undertaking their teacher training programmes and transitioning into the early career stage of teaching.
Fazana currently works for the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education at the University of Hertfordshire. She is a senior lecturer in initial teacher education, the ITE lead for EAL, the subject lead for secondary English and Progress Tutor for the Secondary ITE Programme. She has a particular research interest in language acquisition and multilingualism and is an executive committee member for NALDIC (the EAL subject association). Fazana is currently undertaking research that focuses on perceptions of multilingualism in initial teacher education and how these attitudes impact both multilingual beginner teachers and multilingual school children.
In her spare time, Fazana is a regular tennis player and is currently enjoying learning Welsh in order to revive her Cardiff accent.
Janice is a retired teacher with 44 years of teaching experience, 25 of which were as an Assistant Head in a North London Secondary School. My specific responsibilities included SEND, LAC, Safeguarding, Gifted & Talented, Mentoring/Counselling as well as NQT Induction and Student Leadership.
In addition, Janice has also been an elected member of the English Schools Athletics' Association National Executive for 35 years.
Janice is the link Governor for SEND.

David was appointed Headteacher and started in his post at Chancellor's in January 2012, having worked in senior leadership in a number of positions at various London schools. He read maths at Warwick and, after graduating, completed his PGCE and then entered the teaching profession. He has two secondary aged children.
Ian retired three years ago as a headteacher in the primary sector. During his time in education Ian served both as National Leader of Education and a qualified Ofsted Inspector. Prior to his time in education Ian had his own building business.
Ian was brought up in Islington and moved to Enfield in his early twenties. For the last 22 years Ian has lived in Little Heath with his wife Sally and his two children Jack and Harry. He is a keen golfer and gym member.

Peter worked in senior leadership positions in industry for many years before retraining as a teacher of French and German, gaining his PGCE at the University of Hertfordshire.
Having studied for his Batchelor's degree in French and German at Aston University in Birmingham, Peter took a master's degree in European Management at Cranfield School of Management, and subsequently entered the business world, working for a number of blue-chip organisations including Scholl, Coopers & Lybrand, Glaxo Smithkline, Technicolor, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Avery Weigh-Tronix, ERIKS and De La Rue. Many of his roles included global responsibilities, and he has extensive experience of working in different cultures across the world.
In addition to teaching French and German, Peter has recently taken on the responsibility of developing and delivering the Personal Finance course that is offered to all year 12 students at Chancellor's. Peter is married to Brigitte, a French national, and they have three adult children. A keen former rugby player, Peter continues to stay fit by cycling, running and visiting the gym on a regular basis.
