For almost 15 years, JC's Guitars & Music Lessons has been providing gear and lessons in all types of music for musicians and students in the far Northwest Chicago suburbs. October 9th of 2004 was JC's Grand Opening and the shop was 2,500 square feet with over 600 guitars on display. However, we were bursting at the seams and had too much gear, so on January 3rd of 2007 we opened up right next door with 5,000 square feet of GUITARS! In January of 2010, we opened up a satellite lesson facility in Lake In The Hills to service our west of the Fox River students better. Then, in June 2011, our St. Charles facility opened and would now wear the title of "the big store," because in September of 2011, our Algonquin location was relocated 1 mile west to the Fountain Square shopping center. In October 2016, our Algonquin location closed its doors and was consolidated into our Lake in the Hills store, and our St. Charles location closed its doors in November 2018.
