Emilios V. Hadjihannas - Founder, Managing Director

Emilios is the founder and managing director of EmiHad. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC), the International Compliance Association (ICA), as well as, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). He started his career with a firm in Cyprus with whom he completed his ACA training, subsequently, moved to London, UK and worked with PwC London as well as PwC Edinburgh where he gained extensive professional experience. Upon his return to Cyprus he joined Mazars Cyprus before deciding to set up EmiHad. He has significant professional experience covering a wide spectrum of business sectors such as real estate, oil and gas, financial services, energy and investment & asset management holding services. Emilios holds a BSc(Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of Salford and an MSc in Information Systems: Organizations and Management from the University of Manchester. He is also a holder of BFP certification from the ICAEW, holder of the CySEC Advanced certificate and holder of the ICA Certification in AML from the International Compliance Association.

Vrahimis I. Hadjihannas - CEO, Chief Legal Officer

Vrahimis is the General Counsel of EmiHad and the managing partner of Vrahimis Hadjihannas law office. He held various positions while working with the Cyprus Civil Service, with his last position being a District Officer (Governor). Vrahimis attended the Pancyprian Gymnasium Secondary School, from 1959 to 1965 and subsequently embarked on his rich journey in higher education. He studied in five different countries, Greece, Spain, Israel, England and the USA. He holds two degrees a BSc and an LLB. He also has four Masters degrees, in an array of fields, such as Agriculture, Rural Development and Planning, Rural Extension and Public Administration. He is currently an Advocate and Legal Advisor. He practices Company Law, Civil Law, Contract law, Criminal Law, Public Law, Family Law, Succession and other related areas of law. He brings many years of legal and diverse experience. He participated in numerous seminars and conferences in Cyprus, the European Union and other countries. He wrote many articles and has many publications in his fields of interest.
