Paul Ellis

Paul Ellis grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Wake Forest University. Paul is the president and founder of Swim For The Reef, Inc., a U.S.A.-based, international non-profit environmental organization, whose mission is gaining knowledge about, and protection of, the coral reef systems of the world. Paul Ellis has been an active scuba diver since 1974 and a is a certified PADI Divemaster To raise world awareness and to help facilitate education related to these complex ocean/shore issues, Paul Ellis spent five years in training as preparation for an ultimately successful, forty-mile, 14.5-hour, open water swim across the Yucatan Channel between the island of Cozumel and the mainland city of Cancun, Mexico, which was accomplished in August of 2004 After his successfull swim, Paul moved to Cozumel as a permanet resident.

Sergio Sandoval

Segio has been involved in the diving business since he was a little child. Son of one of Cozumel's legendary divers, Sergio had the opportunity to dive with some of the world's best divers in the world like SCUBA pioneers Jean Michael Cousteau and Ramon Bravo. Sergio has been diving professionally the Cozumel Reefs for more that thirty years.
