To sustain the activities of the partnership stakeholders recommended to establish a Centre for Urban Food Systems. The Centre would be a knowledge hub for urban gardening and food systems that provides evidence based research results to show economic feasibility and sustainability of urban gardening and food systems, tests and develops innovative urban gardening techniques, maintains constructive dialogues with local and national policy makers to promote expansion of urban gardening and improvement of urban food systems, supports co-creation and implementation of solutions and mainstreams urban gardens in policy making.
