FORZA ROOF CLEANING - Key Persons
My name is Dwayne Cooper and I'd personally like to welcome you to our site. We're a family run business based in Central Ohio. I've been in the roofing industry for over a decade and I have seen thousands of roofs covered with these ugly dark streaks. In 2007, when I was working with clients in my restoration company, I would constantly be asked "What are those ugly black streaks on my roof?" Honestly, back then, I didn't know what caused the streaks. Back then, in my eyes, I just assumed the roof was dirty or it needed replaced. Over the years, after so many clients asked me about the ugly stains I decided to do some research.
To my surprise, what I found out was very interesting. It wasn't dirt up there and the rain wasn't going to wash it off. It was a very hardy living organism called Gloeocapsa Magma. It's a form of algae. The big problem is, outside of the roof looking awful, it's feeding off of the limestone that the manufacturer's put into the shingles. Basically, it's feeding off of your roof and it's never going to go away unless it gets professionally treated. It's basically a roof disease. It won't stop feeding until every spec of limestone in the shingle is gone. When that happens, your roof is literally gone. Heat or cold won't kill the algae and rain or a hose won't wash it off. So, after I did my research, I started seeing these dark streaks covering roofs everywhere I went. I knew something had to be done so I started Forza Roof Cleaning, LLC.
