The Grayson County Water District was for formed by a group of visionaries with the idea of safe affordable drinking water for the rural areas of Grayson County in 1969. Fiscal Court passed a resolution officially creating the Grayson County Water District and in 1974 the district began providing water to the county... The Grayson County Water District exists to serve our customers with the cleanest and most affordable water we can provide. With over 9000 customers, Grayson County Water District covers the largest service area of any potable water provider in the area. We take our jobs seriously and pride ourselves on customer care.
