I am a Candidate Consultant with four years recruitment experience who is passionate about the charity sector. I've secured a great track record of sourcing candidates from different backgrounds to help charities, membership bodies and educational institutes. As a recruiter, I genuinely feel that I have a huge responsibility not only to my candidates and clients but also to wider society by helping to improve the lives of others.
I am responsible for all financial and group support functions for Merrifield Consultants. I've accrued 20+ years' experience as a commercial CFO in the recruitment sector covering private equity, public and private ownership models. I have in-depth knowledge of all legal and compliance matters impacting recruitment. I am proud of Merrifield Consultants' journey and the impact it is having in the not-for-profit sector. I look forward to it growing whilst maintaining its customer focus and giving back to the sector.
I am a principal consultant with over 20 years' experience in recruitment. I support various charities, institutes, and membership bodies within the not-for-profit sector. My experience has enabled me to build strong relationships with our clients, built on trust and transparency. I offer a personalised and consultative approach, offering advice and guidance at every stage in the recruitment process. I am passionate about making a real difference to the sector and giving something back.
I recently joined Merrifield Consultants as a Digital Marketing Executive with previous experience in social media management, app development and website development. Prior to Merrifield Consultants, I worked within marketing for a Carer's Support charity based in Kent, the knowledge and experience I gained whilst working for this charity allowed me to translate well to Merrifield Consultants and understand the brand very quickly. Within my role, I feel a responsibility towards both our candidates and clients in showing who Merrifield Consultants are and what we do. Outside of work you would usually find me watching football, going to the Cinema or meeting with friends.

I'm so pleased to have a combination of third sector background, having headed up a fundraising team at a national charity, as well as over 20 years of sales experience. Combined, this knowledge and experience has proved invaluable within my role as a recruitment consultant, particularly when working on niche vacancies within fundraising. Given my background, it feels like I have the perfect balance of working with not-for-profit and the fast-paced sales environment I have been used to.
I have worked for the team for over 10 years providing administration support and being an account manager for a leading client account. I pride myself on helping the team attract the best talent for their clients while ensuring all compliance checks are correct and up to date. I feel rewarded when the team is performing well as it means that I'm doing a good job supporting them.
I have worked in the charity sector for many years. As a recruiter, I have spent the majority of my time as a fundraising specialist. I understand the demands on charities and memberships and that they are no different to the largest corporates desiring the best talent possible. I love checking in with people I have placed into a job and finding out how much of an impact they have made to their charity. This means they are impacting lives in a positive way and their efforts are helping others who need support.
