Loren Sokolow

Loren has over 40 years of experience in finance and business operations. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Psomas, an employee-owned firm in the AEC space, from 2001 through 2019 and was integral to its continued success and growth. During his tenure, Psomas acquired 12 firms and continues to be ranked by ENR as one of the top engineering firms in the nation. In joining IAG, Loren continues our commitment to providing experienced practitioners from the AEC industry. During his long tenure as CFO, he provided guidance, advice and the consolidation of lessons learned for the firm as it experienced continuous growth. Loren has experience with strategic planning, ownership transitions, ESOP planning and implementation, operations, and IT processes. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Loren was part of the valuation, selection and negotiation of the 12 acquisitions at Psomas. Additionally, he has been responsible for the integration of the many disparate accounting and reporting systems and business operations. Loren speaks regularly at industry conferences focusing on the responsibilities of a CFO operating an ESOP owned company. He is a member of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA); Finance Executive International (FEI); and the AEC Southern California CFO Roundtable. In 2019, Loren was presented with the ACEC Distinguished Service Award for his role as co-chair of the ACEC's Finance Forum for the preceding twelve years. Loren was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal with their Lifetime Achievement Award at their September 2019 CFO of the Year Awards Dinner. Loren graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and has a Master's degree in Administration from San Diego State University. Since 2013, Loren has been and continues to be a credentialed Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.

Mark Isaak - CEO, President

Mark Isaak spent 33 years as a consultant engineer in the transportation segment of the AEC industry. For the last 20 years, Mark has been focused on growing business units through the development of growth strategies and the actions required to effectively implement those strategies. Prior to founding the Isaak Advisory Group, Mr. Isaak was responsible for developing and implementing his previous firm's entry into the Texas market. He was directly involved in the identification, acquisition and integration of a Texas firm while executing complementary strategic hires organically. Mark had a 27-year career at PBS&J/Atkins that culminated in serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for the national transportation group company. He has facilitated numerous strategic planning efforts in business units ranging in size from $1M to $250M in annual revenues. To address the challenge of implementing a strategic plan into actionable items, Mark developed the Strategic Alignment & Revenue Tracking (StART) system. As a practicing operational manager, Mark has used the StART System to produce revenue growth that aligns with strategic goals. Mark received a BS in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and Florida.

Marvin Fisher

Marvin has over 40 years of experience in the AEC industry, with 16 years in the private sector, after serving his first 25 years in the United States Air Force. During his service, he provided executive leadership and management to units with up to 10,000 military and civilian members responsible for engineering services, contracting, security forces, human resources and communications for installation operations. When not in command positions, his expertise was in planning and programming. He served as the Director of Strategic Plans and Programs for the Office of the Civil Engineer responsible for developing and advocating for a $12B annual budget supporting 167 installations world-wide. For the past 9 years Mr. Fisher has served as the Vice President for Strategy and Sales, and Chief Strategy Officer for the Farnsworth Group where he implemented numerous business process improvements and strategic initiatives to drive growth, improve internal standards and metrics, and reduce operating costs while increasing profitability. Mr. Fisher has served on several senior leadership teams, foundation boards and military boards. His numerous military decorations include the Legion of Merit and was twice awarded the Bronze Star for his leadership while engaged in combat operations with a hostile enemy. He has been an active member of the Society of American and Military Engineers (SAME) for over 30 years, where he recently served as the 99th National President. He received his BS in Civil Engineering (United States Air Force Academy), Master's in Engineering Management (Air Force Institute of Technology), and Master's in National Resource Strategy (National Defense University).
