JAMI-LEIGH SAWYER COUNSELLING SERVICES

I have always had a passion for helping others, and have dedicated my career to helping people heal from their emotional pain. I am highly trained in trauma, and believe deeply that if we can interrupt the cycle, we can live more present, content, and fulfilled lives... I strive to employ an empathetic, genuine, and caring approach to my work. I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work and Honours Psychology at McMaster University, and later graduated with my Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Health and Mental Health. Most recently I have completed my PhD at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, where I am also a Course Instructor in the MSW program.
