Dr. Ellen (Wolke) Grubb joined Dr. Kenkel and Associates in June of 2014. Dr. Grubb grew up in Middletown, Ohio, where she graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in 2006 and The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2010.
Dr. Grubb is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association. Dr. Grubb works with patients of all ages and optometric needs and continually strives to provide each patient with personal attention and care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, skiing and just being outdoors for any reason.
Dr. Julie Cleary practices in the Western Hills location. She joined Dr. Kenkel and Associates in October 2002. She graduated cum laude from Xavier University with a Bachelors of Science. In 1999 she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University College of Optometry.
Dr. Cleary specializes in contact lens fittings and the early detection and treatment of eye diseases. She is originally from the Cincinnati area, where she attended Seton High School, and currently resides in Bridgetown area with her 4 children.
Dr. Timothy P. Kenkel has been in practice since July of 1985, when he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He practices at both the Glenway and Princeton Pike locations. He has been performing comprehensive eye exams, treating eye diseases and fitting specialized contact lenses for the last 30 years.
He is a native to this area as he attended Elder High School and the University of Cincinnati before graduating from The Ohio State University. Dr Kenkel, his wife Michelle, and his three sons, Alex,Adam,Erik, are all lifelong residents of Cincinnati.
