John is a 1995 graduate of Pike Central High School and a 1999 graduate of Purdue University. John has been a member of the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department since 1998 where he currently serves as a Captain. John is also a professional bass fisherman on the FLW Tour. John enjoys golf and being outdoors.
