Megan earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and began working as a law clerk with a prominent DuPage County law firm specializing in local prosecutions, criminal defense, and family law. She was then admitted to Northern Illinois University College of Law where she discovered her passion for litigation through participating in the American Lawyer's Association Moot Court Competition as well as an internship at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. After graduating from Northern Illinois University College of Law, Megan began her legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney in DuPage County. Megan's hard work and ambition facilitated her advancement through the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. She worked her way from traffic and misdemeanor prosecutions to felony trial and narcotics prosecution, handling a litany of cases including but not limited to petty traffic offenses, DUI, battery, domestic battery, orders of protection, theft, retail theft, burglary, robbery, armed robbery, and attempted murder. During her seven years at the State's Attorney's Office Megan was responsible for thousands of criminal cases and tried well over one hundred cases to verdict. This invaluable experience provides Megan with the unique opportunity to evaluate each case from the perspective of a prosecutor to aggressively advocate for her clients in the courtroom. Upon leaving the State's Attorney's Office, Megan moved on to practice civil litigation at a premier insurance defense law firm in Chicago. There, Megan's caseload consisted of issues involving breach of contract, negligence, premises liability, construction litigation, car accidents, and medical malpractice. Megan is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Federal Court in the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. When she is not advocating for her clients, Megan enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and White Sox baseball.

Nicole Wolverton

Nicole began her career in the legal field working for the DuPage County Circuit Court Clerk's office for 10 years. Initially her responsibilities included data-entry for all new and existing cases in both the Civil and Criminal divisions. She was then one of the first employees to be cross-trained as a Customer Service Representative on both the phones and in person as a cashier. She then worked in the Civil Division as a Court Clerk for a multitude of judges until her final posting in the Criminal Division where she worked in Domestic Violence, Felony, Misdemeanor, Traffic, Bond Court and Orders of Protection courtrooms. She worked with the Judges in this division as well as the Programmers, Sheriff's Deputies and Court Advocates to restructure and simplify the process of filing Orders of Protection. During her time with DuPage she had been responsible for creating many different protocols and procedures for Domestic Violence filings and courtroom proceedings. She was in charge of training new staff as well as being a liaison between the Court Advocates, Prosecutors, Attorneys, Deputies and Judges. Nicole's pastimes include drawing, painting, reading and spending time with her dog.

Tom went to Arizona State University where he received his undergraduate degree in business management. Before going to law school at Northern Illinois University, Tom worked as a business manager where he found his calling in helping others attain what is just and right. While in law school, Tom worked as a Clerk for the US District Court in Northern Illinois and as an intern with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. Since graduating from law school, Tom worked as an Assistant State's Attorney for DuPage County. Tom worked through traffic, misdemeanor, and felony divisions at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. Through his hard work and drive to provide justice to victims, Tom litigated a number of cases from indictment to trial. Tom handled all manner of cases from misdemeanor DUIs to felony DUIs where injuries were involved, misdemeanor batteries and felony batteries with severe injuries, thefts, burglaries, robberies, armed robberies, and a number of other types of cases fighting for victims. While at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office for over eight years Tom handled thousands of criminal cases, trying over a hundred cases to verdict. This experience provides an invaluable opportunity for clients to use Tom's expertise as a trial attorney to zealously advocate for his clients inside and outside of court. Tom is licensed to practice law in Illinois. When not advocating for his clients, Tom enjoys exercising, trying new and exotic foods, and building Lego sets.
