The District was started in 1961 by a group of farmers, struggling with the quantity and quality of water their wells were able to produce. The City of Leavenworth was willing and able to work with the community to provide a better quality of water and a greater supply. The District has grown to provide service to more than 250 patrons over the years... Rural Water District No. 2 is committed to providing safe and quality water service to our customers. We strive to maintain a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.
