When I graduated from Davidson Fine Arts, I did not know my life would lead me to become a financial planner. I lived in three other cities in Georgia, working in hospitality, and moved back to get married in 2008. I graduated from Augusta State University with a degree in Finance and Economics and have a desire to help as many as I can in achieving their financial goals. A personal goal during school was to earn the CFP® certification and in 2020 I passed all the required steps to be a CFP® certificant.
I am the founder of Optimal Wealth Strategies, a comprehensive financial and retirement planning firm. We are an independent firm located in West Augusta. Being independent allows us the freedom to utilize the best strategies available without beholding to another agenda. I work with you to build a plan that incorporates all aspects of your financial life. Being fully licensed for investments as well as insurance, I can look at your entire financial health from a 30,000-foot view to encompass all aspects of your personal situation. My knowledge in taxes, investments, and insurance gives me a distinct advantage over many advisors as I can encompass all aspects of the financial world.
