The genesis of our name, Papiput, dates back to 2011, a creative concoction by my younger sister, the artistic soul known as Zakuro. A fusion of "Papito" (the endearing term Amelia's children use for their daddy) and "Puput" (Amelia's nickname), it encapsulates the essence of our familial roots. Initially, we trod the path of importing, offering the likes of GGH from Germany, Red Heart, Patons, Lily Sugar ‘n Cream yarn lines, and more. Then, the enchantment of hand-dyed yarns beckoned, and we became the trailblazers, introducing Malabrigo and Lorna's Laces to Indonesia. Once you glimpse the magic of hand-dyed yarns, there's no turning back... Inspired by the rich tapestry of Indonesia - its diverse culture, breathtaking landscapes, deep-rooted traditions, and a symphony of languages - our yarns tell a story beyond stitches.
