Hitesh (HP) Patel is the Chief Operating Officer for Curve Hospitality in Houston, TX. He brings more than 20 years of hospitality expertise to his role, tasked with further growing the company's key partnerships while also providing strategic guidance to all departments at Curve Hospitality. HP is also the president of Capital City Hospitality Group, a hotel asset company in Austin, TX. HP recently was the Chairman of the World's Largest Hotel Association called AAHOA - Asian American Hotel Owners Association from 2018-2019. During his chairmanship, he launched AAHOA Hotel Owners Academy and made combating human trafficking a top priority for the association. HP is married to Trusha Patel and has two children, Kylissa Patel and Khaleal Patel.
Marianne has spent over 20 years in the commercial real estate industry focusing on marketing and research. Previously, she was the Senior Manager of Lead Generation at Ten-X.com. Using her research skills, she worked closely with her team to design and build out a system that allowed the company to interact with its clients in an efficient, safe and targeted way. The department was directly responsible for identifying unknown potential buyers of current listings, resulting in over $1.4 billion of closed commercial real estate. Additionally, Marianne worked on various projects focused around strategy, productivity and data, achieving several internal awards for her work. Marianne has a Bachelor's Degree in Economic and Social History from the University of Wales and a Masters of Science in Economic History from the London School of Economics.
Trusha Patel is Texas-based hotelier with over two decades of hospitality experience and is a featured speaker for hospitality conferences. She serves as the Managing Member for Capital City Hospitality Group, which owns and operates branded and independent hotels throughout Texas. Trusha is a licensed real estate broker and held several executive level positions throughout her career. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Austin Hotel and Lodging Association. Trusha is a lifetime member of AAHOA, the world's largest hotel owner's association. Since 2009, Trusha has served as an AAHOA Ambassador and committee member. Trusha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Teas Southern University. She started her career as a psychologist. In 2008 she decided to go back to school and earned an Executive MBA from Baylor University (Hons.) in 2010.
