Mr Chia Tet Hin

Mr Chia Tet Hin (William) worked with DBS Bank for 20 years and held senior positions in South Korea, Indonesia and the United Kingdom before working for a UK-based group of companies engaged with research and development in the green automotive industry as its Group Director of Operations. Its group companies, including subsidiaries in Germany and France covered businesses in solar energy, smart grid, composite materials and as a technical solution provider.

Mr Lee Hak Boon

Mr Lee Hak Boon has served the education service for 40 years. His wealth of experiences include working in the Guidance Branch in MOE HQ as well as in primary school, secondary schools, integrated programme school and junior college. A school principal of 23 years, Mr Lee was often invited to conduct workshops and share his insights with students, educators and officers in the Education Administration Service (EAS) at the schools, clusters and zones. His workshops ranged from visionary leadership development to practical tips on managing difficult people. All his workshops were well-received and many of the participants shared that he was highly effective, engaging and inspiring. Using a practical approach with authentic examples, his workshops met the needs on the grounds and the participants reflected that his contextualised wisdom benefitted their personal leadership growth greatly. Mr Lee's workshops are for current and aspiring school leaders, key personnel, educators and EAS. Adaptable, Mr Lee is able to customise each workshop according to each school's aspirations and requirements. Mr Lee Hak Boon holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from National University of Singapore and a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Iowa, USA.

Mr Shaun Lee

Praised for having the "passion and projection that will fill concert halls" (The Straits Times), Mr Shaun Lee is one of the leading opera singers in Singapore. A versatile singer with a wide repertoire ranging from Britten to Wagner, Shaun has performed in Singapore, Germany, Italy and United States of American. He has received rave reviews locally and internationally. Besides performing in key roles in operas and an active recitalist in concerts and social events, Shaun is a classical opera instructor, coaching aspiring individuals in opera singing to realise their potential and be musically inspired. He also hopes to share the magic of opera with schools and to embark on this unusual musical journey together with the students and teachers. Shaun Lee is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music (Masters).

Mr Tan Chor Pang

Mr Tan Chor Pang has over 2 decades of school leadership experience. In his time as Principal, he is known to be ahead in his time in innovative solutioning and strategic leadership. The most recent innovation, which garnered the MOE Innergy Gold Award 2019, is his novel approach to schooling which is family oriented and based on a CCA-centric model. The Concept of 3rd SpΔce thinking is how he has codified his innovative thinking into a transferable process.

Mrs Lee Bee Yann

Mrs Lee Bee Yann had served in the Singapore's education service for 36 years with 21 years as a Principal. In addition to her experiences in schools and MOE Headquarters, she had also collaborated with technology companies to harness the use of ICT in education.

Mrs Tay Chen Lai

Mrs Tay Chen Lai has served the Education Service for 37 years. Her past experiences include working in the Manpower Planning Branch in MOE HQ as well as Vice Principal, HOD and teacher in a number of secondary schools. She has been to schools of different types: all-girls, all-boys, mixed, govt, govt-aided, and independent. As Vice Principal of 17 years and Math & Science educator for 20 years, Mrs Tay had conducted talks, discussions and sharing for school visitors to share her insights on the various learning related topics with teacher educators, students and even parents during parent-teacher meetings. Her sharings range from teachers' training and development to practical tips on classroom management, study skills and examination tips for students, including goal-setting, motivation and time-management for students. Her sharings often received positive feedback. Teacher educators feedback that her suggestions brought about effective change in classroom teaching and created conducive learning environment. Students, and parents alike, thanked her for her practical skills, as well as her care and concern, which have brought them tangible benefits in their learning journey. Mrs Tay is able to customise her sharing, content delivery according to the student / teacher / department based on their aspirations and requirements. Mrs Tay Chen Lai holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics from National University of Singapore and a Master of Education from Nanyang Technological University.

Ms Elizabeth Ng
