NAVITAX - Key Persons
Hyun moved from South Korea at the age of five and has lived in Georgia since. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), receiving his BA in Risk Management and Insurance. After working as a licensed insurance agent for three years, he decided to go back to school and graduated from Georgia State University with a Master's degree in Accounting in 2020. He is currently studying to obtain his CPA license.
During his time in the insurance industry, Hyun realized his passion for people - building strong relationships past pleasantries to speak hard and loving truths for the ultimate wellbeing and success of his clients. He continues to approach life in this way at Navitax as well.
Hyun loves playing soccer, hiking, serving his local church, exploring new coffee shops, and helping others. His coined motto is, "help people get better at what they are good at."
Jeong has always had a heart to serve and to help people, therefore having lived in the United States, more specifically Texas since 2006; she was inspired to complete her Master's degree in family counseling at Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Over the years, her enthusiasm for people's relational well-being has led her down a path to financial well-being. She went on to complete the accounting program at SeoGang University and passed the EA (Enrolled Agent) certification in 2017.
With over 5 years of experience in the industry, Jeong places high value in client relationships and service. Being faithful to the job entrusted to her is important for her because the job is related to the clients' needs.
Jeong and her husband Heeduck have two sons, Daniel and Nehemiah. When she has spare time, she enjoys walking, hiking, and traveling with her family.
