A graduate of Ferrum College with a BA in Business, John combines his military discipline with a deep commitment to personal and professional growth. He has a passion for teaching and empowering his team of employees, instilling in them the values of excellence, integrity, and service. As a family man himself, with a loving wife of 7 years and three children, John understands the importance of building strong relationships and creating a supportive work environment that feels like family.
Beyond his business acumen, John is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time hunting, reading, and soaking in the beauty of nature. With 22 years of invaluable experience in the pest control industry, Kenny Porter brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Chief Operating Officer at The Vine Landscaping. Throughout his career, Kenny has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication, earning numerous certifications and accolades along the way.
Kenny holds certifications in lawn and ornamental/shrubs, general household pests (GHP), and is certified in termites/WDO (wood destroying organism). His commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his Best Management Practices (BMP) certification and Sentricon certification, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of pest control practices.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kenny is a devoted family man, cherishing his 21-year marriage to his wife and his four children. An avid outdoorsman, Kenny finds solace in nature, often spending his free time fishing, boating, and exploring the great outdoors with his beloved dog, Rowdy.
