CASCADIA SEAWEED

Cascadia Seaweed is the largest North American provider of ocean cultivated seaweed - a regenerative crop with a variety of uses requiring only the sea and sunlight to grow. In our first year of business (2019) we produced seed, built ocean farms, planted, grew and harvested from two hectares (or 6km) of demonstration farms, and completed a land-based growing trial in tanks. Our first commercial crop was harvested in 2021, and we have recently installed and seeded 60km of farm infrastructure on 7 sites in partnership with 5 different First Nations, with a harvest planned for this Spring. We are the only vertically integrated seaweed company combining cultivation know-how, First Nations partnerships and progressive brand development (@koveocean), and our leadership team has over 150 years combined experience in food, technology and financial services businesses.
