Anthony Phillips - Founder

Anthony is a Chartered Accountant of England (ACA), South Africa CA(SA) and Zimbabwe (ICAZ) where he was born in 1953 and completed his articles with Deloitte's and Ernst & Young. His commercial experience includes holding various international executive positions in finance and management within different sectors including; information technology, retail and consumer goods, publishing, capital goods and venture capital industries. A Principal at Exceed UK, Anthony has worked within the profession and in the private and corporate sectors and brings financial and general management expertise and through his own experiences offers proactive mentoring and coaching to owner-managed businesses.

Chris O'Malley - Founder

A New Zealander by birth, Chris practised as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand before switching to a career in sport and the media. He spent the next 13 years coaching cricket professionally and working for organisations like CTV, Radio NZ and Sky Sports as a presenter and commentator of Rugby and Cricket. He produced and presented the news for CTV for 18 months. Resident in the UK since 2001, Chris has focused his attention on freelance A/V production and the development of cutting edge IPTV and IP security solutions.

Cobus Visagie

Cobus is the founder and CEO of Merchant Link International, a corporate finance boutique, focusing exclusively on private equity deal origination and syndication in Sub-Saharan Africa, with deep sector expertise in Renewable Energy, Impact, Agriculture and Infrastructure. Cobus qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cape Town in Global Risk Management Services for 7 years. Concurrently with his career in finance, he managed to represent Western Province, the Stormers and the Springbok rugby team, until he moved to London in 2003 to join professional rugby club, Saracens. He achieved various accolades during his rugby career, including being named in 1999 IRB Rugby World Cup Team of the Tournament and representing the World XV, Southern Hemisphere and Barbarians Rugby in several matches. In 2011 he joined Templewood Merchant Bank, an independent private merchant bank where he was involved in Financial, Strategic, Investment and Advisory services to UK companies and a diverse group of International Investors. As Principal for Africa he was responsible for all deal origination and syndication for Sub-Saharan Africa.

David Grier

Why I became an Ambassador and a Trustee As an individual I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of the youth around me. Through my extreme adventures I try and inspire the youth to go out, live their dreams - and achieve them, but also by doing so to make a difference in the greater community in which they are in contact. We are all traveling our life's journey. Make your journey count. Make a difference!. I feel that Giveall encapsulates what I believe in and is going to make a massive difference in the lives of our youth. I joined the charity as a Trustee and an Ambassador to add my support to this most worthwhile cause. Biography David Grier is an exceptional human being: a Cape Town based celebrity chef, extreme athlete, author and philanthropist; he has just completed his third in a series of fundraising challenges for the Miles for Smiles charity.

Phil Robertson

Phil Robertson was born and brought up in Aberdeenshire before moving to Manchester to study in 1992. He joined the Finance Team at the Think Money Group in 1995 as Distributions Manager before taking on the role of Head of Staff Development for the Group in 2006. His duties included the development of the company's support for local and international charities and he was instrumental in setting up one of the UK's most successful Employee Payroll Giving schemes, achieving 88% employee participation in 2011.

Theo completed an Honours degree in Management Accounting in 1996 at the University of Stellenbosch. In 2001 he passed the ‘Registered Persons'Exam with the South African Institute of Financial Markets. Theo started his professional career with the South African listed entity Remgro, after which he became a marketing manager at To-Infinity, a privately owned business. Theo joined Exceed UK Limited in September 2002, where he looks after clients' requirements and is responsible for personal tax, year-end accounts and individual offshore structures.

Tim began his business career in South Africa with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 before heading up their Cape Town Business Services Department. Resident in the UK since 1996, Tim has over 25 years of experience acting for sensitive clients on a worldwide basis in various specialist areas. It is this expertise that has provided the platform from which many complex international forensic cases have been solved. He has been actively involved in Charitable fund raising for many years and his achievements include the establishment of: Giveall2Charity The Nede Education Fund The King's Kitchen - a Mission Outreach programme, with seven different churches in Cape Town, which ran successfully for over 13 years One of the world's largest computerised cash management schemes for the Methodist Church of Southern Africa - which has been operational for over 20 years
